Rendering Contention Channel Made Practical in Web Browsers
A rendering contention side channel: a page applies stable, self-adjusting pressure to the browser rendering pipeline and times a sequence of frames to detect co-rendering events elsewhere. The SIDER prototype uses it for cross-browser and cross-mode cookie synchronisation, history sniffing, website fingerprinting and keystroke logging.
