Web Hack List
Reuse & licences
The MIT licence covers only this project's original website/tooling code and associated software documentation. Preserved research, collection content and third-party components keep their separate rights, terms and credits.
Original website and tooling code
Original website and tooling code by Web Hack List contributors, and its associated software documentation, is licensed under the MIT License. You can use, modify and distribute it, including commercially, under that licence. Keep the copyright and permission notice with copies or substantial portions of the software.
The served licence is an exact copy of the repository's top-level LICENSE. The licence text is unchanged; this page explains its scope.
Preserved research and collection content
Preserved research in archived-references/, original announcement PDFs in original-listings/, and attributed or source-derived collection content retain their authors' and publishers' rights, terms and credits. The project's MIT licence does not relicense these works, their translations, extracts or figures.
Follow each source's own licence or obtain permission where required before republishing its content. Use the original source links and author credits in the archive to identify the work and its terms. Preservation and attribution do not grant additional reuse rights.
Vendored components
Third-party components retain their separate licences and notices. The PDF viewer uses PDF.js under its own licence; its fonts, character maps and image decoders have additional notices kept with those components. Retain the relevant licences and credits when reusing them.
CSV and bibliography exports
CSV, Markdown bibliography and print exports contain catalogue metadata, citations and links to help you find and credit research. Exporting a bibliography does not transfer copyright in the cited research or grant permission to republish preserved documents or source-derived text. Keep attribution and check the source terms for the content you reuse.
