Stefano Di Paola's advisory on Digest authentication request splitting in IE 7, Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Safari. A CRLF or %0d%0a embedded in the username of a URL, an img src, a redirect or an XMLHttpRequest open() call splits the browser's Authorization header into a second attacker-controlled request, poisoning a shared proxy's cache.
