Bursting Performances in Blind SQL Injection - Take 2 (Bandwidth)
Wisec - The WIse SECurity
Stefano Di Paola and Giorgio Fedon save bandwidth in blind SQL injection by reading response size instead of the body. Apache refuses Content-Length on HEAD but answers Range: bytes=-1 with a Content-Range that reveals it, while IIS 6.0 ignores Range yet returns Content-Length on HEAD. A per-server lookup table is given; a later comment adds Tomcat 6.0.26.
