X-Frame-Options (XFO) Detection from Javascript
Frames blocked by X-Frame-Options never fire their onload handler. Creating a hidden iframe whose onload removes it from the DOM, then checking a few seconds later whether the element still exists, tells a script whether a cross-origin URL sends XFO. Because some sites send the header only on their logged-out login screen, this doubles as a cross-domain login-state oracle.
