How to Break XML Encryption
XML Encryption implementations remain open to adaptive chosen-ciphertext attacks that recover the plaintext of encrypted XML without any key. The authors systematise those attacks and automate them in a WS-Attacker plugin that scans an encrypted message, picks the applicable weakness and decrypts it, breaking four of five web service stacks.
