Signature validation bypass in SimpleSAMLphp and XMLSecLibs
The advisory traces a SimpleSAMLphp/XMLSecLibs signature-validation bypass to an XPath query that accepts Reference elements from multiple SignedInfo nodes while verifying only the first signature. An authenticated identity-provider user can add an unsigned reference to a forged assertion, impersonate any identity, and have it accepted as signed.
