DiffCSP: Finding Browser Bugs in Content Security Policy Enforcement through Differential Testing
A differential testing framework generates policies together with every known way of executing JavaScript in HTML, runs each combination across browsers, and uses a decision tree to explain the inconsistencies. It found 29 security and eight functional bugs, including CSP inheritance and hash-handling errors that let script run despite a policy that should stop it.
