Analyzing Unique-Bid Auction Sites for Fun and Profit

Sampled a live highest-unique-bid auction site fast enough to snapshot its redacted position tables at each transaction, then recovered the hidden bids by back-propagating from the final exposed results using Levenshtein edit paths. Ninety recovered auctions fed an agent-based simulation, from which automated strategies were derived; the simplest won 13 of 14 live auctions on a UK site.
