State of DNS Rebinding in 2023
A 2023 status report on DNS rebinding: Chrome's Local Network Access protection is bypassed by targeting 0.0.0.0, which reaches localhost services on Linux and macOS in about three seconds, or by reaching a router's admin interface through its public IP. It also covers the closing of WebRTC local-IP leaks and DNS 0x20 randomisation breaking rebinding servers.
