RFC1918 Blues ha.ckers.org web application security lab
Short post introducing a whitepaper on RFC 1918 private address space. With certain browsers and VPN clients, the flat reuse of ranges like 192.168.1.* makes IP collisions likely, so a client can be steered onto an attacker's host believing it is an internal one. Practitioners confirmed having seen such collisions occur accidentally.
