TesserCap is a point-and-shoot CAPTCHA analysis tool pairing a configurable image preprocessing engine with Tesseract-OCR, plus proxy and custom-header support for fetching CAPTCHAs. Tested against 200+ high-traffic sites and several CAPTCHA providers, it read many schemes at 20-90% accuracy untrained; foodnetwork.com and megaupload.com exceeded 80%, reCAPTCHA scored 0%.
