Introducing wrapwrap: using PHP filters to wrap a file with a prefix and suffix
PHP filter chains could already prepend arbitrary bytes to a resource; by padding the base64, swapping quartets with UCS-4 to UCS-4LE conversions and truncating with the dechunk filter, wrapwrap also appends an arbitrary suffix. Any file_get_contents sink that demands structurally valid JSON, XML or INI can then be turned into an in-band arbitrary file read.
