Robert “RSnake” Hansen, age 34, has passed away, on Facebook
Facebook let any confirmed friend request that an account be memorialized, which restricts the profile and permanently blocks anyone from logging in. Grossman shows the only real check was that a plausible obituary existed: find a same-named person with a recent online obituary in roughly the right area, submit the form, and RSnake's live account was memorialized.
