Preliminary research
Correlated Failures of AI Approval Monitors
AI-collected research leads through 3 November 2026, including a November–October–September missed-article review and a targeted multilingual search alongside earlier community-source sweeps. Unranked, incomplete, not community-vetted, and subject to change.
Measures sets of payment-approval monitors fooled jointly into accepting fraud or rejecting valid actions. Source-aware rules improve the reported false-rejection tradeoff, but the twelve-model worst-case condition fails. A deterministic checker restores the condition only for the measured attacks.
