When WebSockets Lead to RCE in CurseForge
A malicious website discovers CurseForge's localhost WebSocket and controls it because the launcher does not validate Origin. Creating a modpack and supplying JVM out-of-memory handler arguments converts the browser-to-desktop channel into arbitrary command execution.
