Zero Day Initiative — SolarWinds Access Rights Manager: One Vulnerability to LPE Them All
Six pre-authentication arbitrary file read and delete flaws in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager, reachable through an unauthenticated service on port 55555/tcp whose file-name argument is never validated. Because the deletion runs while impersonating the configured Active Directory account, often a Domain Admin, and accepts UNC paths, it converts into local privilege escalation on any domain-joined Windows machine via the known file-deletion-to-LPE technique.
